Hi, my name is Samantha, but my friends call me Sam! I’m a single mom, entrepreneur, and inventor. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, by Peruvian parents.

As a little girl, I had many pets in and out of my house. From the neighborhood chickens, cats, and dogs in the streets to our beloved in-home guard dogs. Loving and caring for animals is my zen. As an adult, I got lost in a career that I wasn’t passionate about for 20 years. Til one day, I decided to press the reset button on my life, and pursued a dream in the pet care industry.

I opened Sam’s Pet House, a pet sanctuary where we love and care for your pets big or small. We offer a variety of trusted pet services such as boarding, training, pet visits, pet reiki, and dog walking!

On a hot summer day, I was walking several of my dog clients, when it was that dreadful time to pick up after them, and found myself carrying several smelly waste bags in my hand until I reached a garbage.

Gross! I was not happy about this, and I knew there were many people who felt the same. When I realized there wasn’t a product to solve this problem, I went home to draw the first sketch of my idea, and BOOM… The nopoo pouch was born!
